United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 13

Flotilla 22-10, Mill Creek, Maryland

35 Years Strong!

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10, Mill Creek, Maryland, Division 22, 5SR Coast Guard District

Flotilla 22-10 was originally authorized as Mill Creek within Division 01 as Flotilla 03, Maryland on 29 May 1974. As part of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Restructuring in 2008, Flotilla 01-03 was retired as a Flotilla number only and was given a new designation within the combined Divisions of 01 and 13 now known as Division 22.

Every year since, our members have been very active and dedicated to the basic cornerstones of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary: Operations, Vessel Examinations and Public Education.

The first meeting took place on 29 May in a member's house in Severna Park and was represented by seventeen members including the first Flotilla Commander and Vice Commander.

Since then, the Flotilla has prospered and grown and currently supports Five Vessel Facilities, Ten Radio Facilities, Eight Instructors, Ten Boat Coxswains, Six Boat Crew, One PWC Operator, Two Quantification Examiner, Two Finger Print Technicians, Four Recreational Boating Safety Visitor, and Fifteen Vessel Examiners and One Watch Stander. Members are also active in other various types of U.S. Coast Guard support activities.
